Wii failed...

Kris laughed at me when she heard I was gunning for the hot toy of the holiday, and I really don't have any comeback. Like this fellow I was thinking I'd be cool and yet I failed. Evelyn and I rolled out early, to leave by 6:00AM for an hour drive to Salem to get a console. There were about 20 ahead of us when we got there at 7:00. Shortly after we arrived they came out and said they had 10 consoles. Close but no cigar.

I talked to the guy first in line today, he was well prepared to camp out and wait and got to the store at 4:15 with his ski jacket, a chair, a blanket, and a DVD player. Good for him. I hung out at the local Fred Meyer yesterday to see what was on the truck; they got 2.

This is nutty and I'm officially swearing off. The game won't be any less fun when it's warm out and easily acquired. But now Evelyn has the bug so we'll see!
