Pleasant distraction

Check out my latest effort! I've meant to try adapting a layout from CSS Zen Garden for quite a while, and actually pulled it off this weekend. Kyle Jones was kind enough to allow me to use his work and I pretty much nailed it. Lucky my thumbnail isn't any wider or I would have had problems in the second column; as is there's just enough room.

I learned quite a bit working with this layout. And I might come back to it and finish out version for the other pages, some day, but for now I've got too much back-end work to do. As I consider what I just did I got what I needed out of the effort -- the toolbox can work, does work, and needs work. I was swapping notes with a friend who's also working on a similar project and heard him express the same frustration I feel... there's value in something like this but it's really difficult to bring it to a place where anyone outside of the project developer can take advantage and be productive.

Oh well enough rambling, as I say I'm glad I took some time out and gave this a shot, back to the development roadmap.
