apt-get update - Dynamic MMap ran out of room
...and the answer is:
Put this in /etc/apt/apt.conf and the problem goes away, at least it did for me today:
APT::Cache-Limit 12582912;
Yay I'm able to catch up on my .debs again. 700 or so and I'll be all set! Oof.
